Ana Celia de Armas Caso was born in Cuba, and was raised to Spanish parents. Her career began in Cuba by playing a lead role in the romance drama Una rosa de Francia. At the age of 18years old, de Armas was transferred to Madrid and was a leading actress on the Spanish television show El Internado. She acted in six episodes between 2007 and 2010. Following her move to Los Angeles, de Armas played English-speaking characters as a character in both the psychological drama Knock Knock (2015) and the comedy-crime movie War Dogs (2016).
